Add the shea butter and coconut oil to a double boiler and melt over medium heat, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat and stir well.
- Add the almond oil, vitamin E oil, peppermint essential oil and soap colorant and whisk well to combine.
- Place in freezer for 20-25 minutes. Remove from freezer. Do not be alarmed at the color of the mixture once you remove it from the freezer. Most of the color has sunk to the bottom of the bowl and will be re-distributed during the whipping process.
- With an electric mixer or immersion blender, whip the mixture for 7-8 minutes or until light and fluffy.
- Transfer to an airtight container. Store in a cool and dry place for up to 3 months.
